NM Contacts puts the right phone numbers on every work phone, per location, automatically, from one web portal.
Shared phones at many locations need their own numbers.
Municipalities, care homes, retail chains and logistics companies hand out shared Android work phones. Each location needs its own list of colleagues, departments and on-call numbers in the phone's Contacts app.
Maintaining this by hand on hundreds of phones does not work, and numbers go stale.

Maintain
Your own administrator keeps one contact list per location in a web portal, or imports it from a CSV file with name and phone number. The import shows a preview before anything is saved.

Deploy
A small Android app is pushed silently to the phones through SOTI MobiControl. Server address, API key and location are set in the managed configuration. The location comes from a device attribute, so each device group gets its own list.

Sync
Contacts appear in the phone's normal Contacts app under the account "Nordic Mobility". Edits, additions and deletions in the portal reach the phone on the next sync. You choose how often that happens.

Codes are generated for you, so nobody types them by hand.
Safe when offline
Sync keeps working when the network does not. If a sync fails, the contacts already on the phone stay untouched.
Two fields only

Nothing to host
Runs on Cloudflare with the database in the EU. No servers for you to maintain.

Simple pricing, per device
One price per device per month. The more devices, the lower the price. All prices are in USD, excluding VAT. Subscriptions are purchased for one year at a time and billed annually.

Technical details
Which Android versions are supported?
Android 8.0 and newer, managed with Android Enterprise.
How is the app deployed?
Through SOTI MobiControl, with server address, API key and location set in the managed configuration.
Which devices has it been tested on?
Any Android phone running Android 8.0 or newer will work.
Does anyone need to do anything on the phone?
Start the app once after install. After that it syncs on its own.
How often do phones sync?
The interval is configurable, so phones can sync as often as you need. We recommend twice a day. Contact lists rarely change by the minute, and fewer syncs keep device operations and bandwidth to a minimum.
How do I remove all contacts from a phone?
Uninstall the app through SOTI.
